The Person Who changed The Most - Part 2

Maythavee, she is always so quiet and rarely shows her feelings. But once you get to know her really well, she will be a very good friend. She always teaches me maths when i don't understand the questions. y
Maythavee's favourite quote is, "Nvr Give Up". I admire that - it is easier said than done. She always follows her dream quietly, try and tried again in silence. I think you can see that in her daily work. yyy
Thank you Maythavee, you are a GREAT friend.

To Special Girls

I would like to thank Theresa, Bona, Maythavee and Megan. They were always there for me when I was down and would always share their time with me - listening to my complaints and forgiving me when I made them angry! They made me a much more cheerful person.

It Would Not be the Same Without You

Thank you to Charmaine, Bona, Theresa and Megan for making me more cheerful!
(by Fauzia)

When I mixed with Jun Jie, I learnt to be more independent and he is also fun to hang around with! When I saw him start on a project and finish it perfectly, it motivated me to strive on and finish it too.
(by Darren)

Clarissa, you always stand by me and listen to me like I listen to you. I enjoy your company. Thank you.
(by Hui Hao)

Guan Jie is really something. He has influenced me a lot!
(manFred)

My friends changed my attitude. In the past, I rarely 'screamed' and 'shouted' (in joy) with my friends but now I do! I tell my friends my dear secrets and they don't laugh at me and I feel so relieved! There are times when we quarrel but in the end, we still get back together. I love my friends.
(by Megan)

I actually felt that Darren treated me like his brother and I do too cause we both help each other whenever one of us is in need!
(by Eugene)

The Person Who Changed the Most - Part 1

At the beginning, Maythavee was like very quiet. At first, she didn't talk a lot . . . After 1 silent term together, in the 2nd term, she began talking - not much at first but gradually became more talkative.

She started drawing pigs on my worksheets and decorating them - but I enjoyed them soooo much.

How she changed and laughed more! I'm happy that now I can talk with her freely, not worrying whether she'll reply or not. I now love the new, outgoing Maythavee so much!

Special Thanks To Someone Special

Thank you JJ for being my long time friend. We went through hardship with me. We share the same pain and agony when we are angry with each other but we always get back together!
(by Jordan)

We, the three musketeers, enjoyed the good times and also shared weal and woe! I hope that our PSLE results will be similar so we can all choose the same school.
(by Eden)

Chao Jun and Eden, you changed my life as you helped me all the time.
(by Guan Jie)

5 of the girls helped changed me! In fact I did not have any close friend at P1 and P2. These girls made my life happier and think positively. I don't think anyone can smile an honest smile without friendship.

6 grace is over but our memories will still live on.....

This whole year to me was like a movie. I can remember everything that happened in the year 2008. But all good things have to end. Still, even if i am not in 6 Grace at least i still have the happy memories i earned from this class. By happy memories, i mean memories from the experience of things you did not do before

Thursday, November 13, 2008

It may be the last day of 6 Grace but it's not the last day i am remembering 6Grace

Today.....*sigh* i have always known that this day will arrive but i think it came too soon.

BTPS Kool

-Insert theme song here-

Hello everybody! Welcome to the Fauzia Amalia show!!!

Today, we shall be interviewing... Myself? hm... oh well, let's get on with it!

Q: So, Fauzia, how did you feel about BTPS kool when they announced it?

A: I felt sooo excited. It's the first time something like this ever happened in BTPS!!! Truthfully though, I don't really like the name BTPS kool... eheheh...

Q: Hmm... Well, how did you feel the night before?

A: I couldn't sleep... I slept at 12.30AM and woke up at 5.45 AM... But I had some sleep in the afternoon, so it wasn't that bad.

Q: You performed right? How did you feel about it?

A: I had fun performing... It's the first time (Besides choir and skits) That I ever performed an item on my own free will and with guys. It was really fun and I don't mind going up on stage to perform again.

Q: How did you feel AFTER performing?

A: Very proud. I accomplish something. And now, I have something to remember my last primary school days.

Q: How did you feel before performing?

A: I don't really know. I don't feel nervous at all. The stage is well, a natural place for me. I was really excited. To see people's reaction. I know some may not really like our item, but I know that in showbiz, there will be fans and there will also be haters. HAHA. I sound like a professional celebrity.

Q: Why do you say that the stage is a natural place for you?

A: I honestly don't know. The stage has always attracted me. But that isn't the reason I joined Choir. Choir is something I wanted to try out. I like singing and singing requires me to go on stage. In Skits, I often get lead roles. My family calls me a natural actor. In other words, I can sometimes be a drama queen.

Q: I heard you won Miss Koolest. Did you expect it?

A: No, I knew that I'll win at least one of the prizes though. But me winning Miss Koolest was totally unexpected for me. Not for my friends though.... They kept saying, Fauzia will surely win Miss Koolest or something like that.

Q: How did you feel about winning?

A: Elated. But embarrassed too.... I thought Alexandra deserved my title. After all, I really really like the way she dresses. But anyway, Thank you to those that supported me and congratulated me!

Q: Hm... I thought I heard somebody saying you held Mister Koolest's hand. Darren right? Is that why you were embarrassed?

A: Word travels fast... Yes, That's the reason why. I kept telling myself, Be open-minded. It's just holding hands with a classmate and a friend. It worked. Kinda. It was easy to see that the others though differently from me. Hmph!

Well, that is all the questions I have. Now, Any questions from the crowd? (Seriously. do you have any questions? If you do, write it in the tagboard)

-Question from crowd session-

Well, We have no more time. Thank you Fauzia, for coming to the Fauzia Amalia show to be interviewed!

That concludes that Fauzia Amalia show !!!

Thank you and good night!

Fauzia Amalia, signing off.

To Have an Open Mind

I have enjoyed the stories you share with us. This is the first time a teacher ever told me her life stories! The lesson on being open-minded taught me to be more considerate with people and think before I act.

I've learnt to be open-minded in accepting others the way they are. I've realised even more the importance of friendship.

When we played Charade, it made me open up, be more open-minded and just make a fool of myself. When I had to do a forfeit for Science in the arena lesson, I learnt to just have fun and not care about what other people will think about me!

Pep Talks

Your talks on:

  • Comfort Zones
  • Experience from the Past
  • Never be boring about your Writing
  • Never believe that Others are smarter than you
  • Life is boring without targets

They were all fascinating!

Your Pep Talks made me braver and calmer. I learnt that I shouldn't panic or give up. That I should not put the blame on someone else.

Your advice made me a better and happier person. Your long talks wake us up and motivate us!

Fun and Friends

Playing vocabulary games and charades in the arena taught me not to be shy and that it's ok to be goofy and get the job well done!

Group work and getting out of my comfort zone are two life lessons that changed my attitude.

How you made the girls have groupwork with the boys was amazing! At first I actually thought that we will not work together but quarrel only... I was wrong! This was the first time in my whole life that I managed to work with boys. I was soooo amazed!

I've learnt that friendship is very important. Even as a talented person, you will never accomplish anything without a friend or a partner. I now treasure my friends.

I am now more aware of how people feel if I do certain actions or make certain decisions.

Life Lessons Learnt in 6 Grace

I was proud in the past but now I try to be more humble and I find it is not too bad being humble.

The Life Lesson that changed my attitude was Kindness and Believing. A lot of people in this class believed that I CAN DO IT. And I finally DO IT!

I've learnt that LAZY is the 4-letter word worse than the one we all know of! If you are lazy, it means that you will never change your attitude, even if people tell you so!

I learnt to trust people more easily and I mean that in a good way!

I've learnt that Life is a Game that is to be played with a smile. There are many levels, achievement and perks and an equal amount of traps, pitfalls and lures. You will bump into a trap every now and then but you must take iwith a smile and a shrug and move on and be more wary.

I learnt so many things:

Friends
Respect
Reaching for your Fullest Potential
And now I'm a new man(Fred)

Dear tree 42 and 43,
I had planted you in Bukit Batok Nature Reserve on Friday with Theresa.
Before we planted you,we had assembled in the BTPS library for collecting our name tag.
It was then I realise i had to plant the two of you.
We then went out to take a group photo with the rest of the RSVP members.
When we had reached Bukit Batok Nature Reserve, the MC gave an opening speech.
Despite the hot sun,we were still very excited to give you life!
Finally,we were lead to plant 42!
It was a SHOREA~
The hole was already dug and all we got to do is to shove the soil into the hole.
We took the shovel (it was so heavy) and started shoving.
We finished in minutes?
We then proceeded to plant 43!
We were about to shove the soil and were disrupted by Megan's and Bona's pants and grunts.
After we finish,we were given buns to eat
We then went to the playground to wait for the bus.
Mrs Chien ask all pupils participating from 6grace to take a group photo!
Time passed so quickly!
The bus came and returned to school.
We had so much fun!

Joyeuse Fete Des Enfants!

Dear 6 Grace

I am privileged to share such a day with you! Elated, I rejoice at being part of the final year of such a high-octane, creative and humourous lot.

As you are getting prepared for Friday, take a few minutes to think of all the wonderful moments we have shared and let those thoughts spur you on to greater heights! Because hey who would have thought the year 2008, your P6 year would have turned out to be this way!

Every start of the year, I wonder what magic will unfold because I believe I'm a Magician (aya another dream)! BUT although the possibilities are endless, ONLY the passion and enthusiasm of the pupils can make my magic come to life.

And 6 Grace, we make magic in our class and our relationship with each other. So now, take that joyful passion and enthusiasm and make your own Magic!

I, Mother Magician release you because you are ready to sparkle!

Your First Task

Years ago, just before my A levels, my family moved from the old cockroach infested flat to our new home! I never told you about the flying cockroaches that would zoom around flapping their wings at full speed every hot night into our bedroom! Or the mouse that bit my little sister's finger as her hand hung down our bed while she fell asleep!

Anyway that has nothing to do with the topic today!

What I mean to tell you about is revision! I loved revision just as much as I loved exams. I know you are all sighing and mumbling - errrr!

I really mean it. Revision gave my life such a clear focus - I was no longer just a child or teenager - I felt important like I was given this fabulous task to accomplish. So whether with cockraoches or not - btw my new room was the biggest in our new home and yo! I finally had my own study table - I would sit until late at night relishing every scrap of revision and making notes.

So kiddies, this is the moment for you. It is a privilege to have such an inportant task in life!

Enjoy it!

what should we all do during science?

Manny co. presents..."what should we all do during science?"

wazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzup everyone!here are some tips from my "research" on how to get an extra marks for your exam................
1.questions should be properly read.every single word is vital

2.read carefully what the questions wants.especially the"correct or false' questions

3.for section c,elaboation is needed.but elaboration doesn't means writing too much.most important is keywords

4.rack your nice pinky brains especially thinking questions.

5.get the answers by linking diffrent concepts together(must be related)

Composition Review Prelim 2008

Light filtered through the window, shining on my face. Birds chirped to welcome the bright new day. A silence so fragile settled down once the birds flew away. And yet, even the nicest things come to an end as the shrill alarm clock sounded, breaking the peaceful start of Saturday.
end
My eyes shot open upon hearing my alarm clock. Sitting on my bed, I took my soft toy and threw it at the alarm clock. It came crashing down noisily. Yet another alarm clock broken! I trudged down the stairs with a frown. I never was a morning person and never will be. My workaholic parents were, as usual, at work. As I ate the breakfast that my mother had prepared, I sniffed a slight scent of gas. Instincts told me that the smell of gas could actually be a harbinger of an explosion.
end
As I remembered my mother's instructions on what to do should I smell gas, I hastily opened all the windows in the kitchen as wide as possible. All of a sudden, cacophony rose from my neighbour's house. Curious, I peeped out of the window, only to see a terrifying sight. Smoke was billowing out of the house's windows and flames engulfed the house.
end
Fear gripped me like a vine. The smell of burning wood hung in the air. The large blaze hypnotised me. I fell into a trance-like state before screams of horror snapped me out of it.
end
Rushing to my cellular phone, I dialled the Singapore Civil Defence Force's number. Giving them all the details needed, I rushed out of my flat with the fear of having my house burnt down too. In just a few short minutes, the fire brigade, paramedics and police came. I calmed myself down as the firemen doused the inferno. Some of the firemen jumped into the flames and saved the trapped victims.
end
My neighbours were admitted to the Singapore General Hospital with second-degree burns. Apparently, there was a gas leakage and the gas canister blew up. My neighbours recovered soon enough and were grateful towards me even though their house was in ashes.
end
I realised later that even if a child is alone at home, he or she can do many things - even save lives!

Why i stink in Math

This is manny.co presenting........'why i stink in math!'

Well you see, after mrs chiens great words and a little bit of thinking (by me),it is my way of thinking of math, which becomes a barricade,a barricade which is stopping and blocking my way to an A(figure that out yourself).not only that, but it is the power of the mind to overcome time pressure and stress.when you get stressed, you tend to forget things.strategies and your game plan.i also fail togather information from one question in one piece.ex:after dealing with one info i forget the previous vital info.then,as i said, under pressure,i get so confused and baffled that i panic.then awhole new misadventure, which is a waste of time.so,ihope this would help.

FATHER in overseas(sekwon)

My father has been working in Indonesia for more than 15 years. His job is oil factory engineering and thanks to the hot sun, his skins are brown. Before coming to Singapore, my father was working in Surabaya(not sure if it is correct spelling) which is far from Jakarta. He said no point of living in Indonesia if we cant greet each day so he suggested us to go Singapore to study. my mother and i was against it...(long story)...
My mother change her mind when he said he will visite us once a month but he broke it. sometimes, he come to Singapore after 6months. i really missed him.
ADVANTAGE OF LIVING WITHOUT FATHER: NOTHING
DISADVANTAGE: 1. He cant help us when my mother scold my sis and me(my friend envied as usually their father scold them)
2. Cant go fishing or bowling
3. the house does not seems secure
But although we meet once every 2months, he call us almost every day but i still miss him...^^

My compo skills.....what's so special?? ^_^

Hi there, its me,Wesley.I know I really should not be writing trash on the blog but i thought that this might be correct.

But deep down I wondered, why do people always think that my compositions are fantastic? Why can't everybody be like me and write fantastic compositions? I don't think my compositions are that good....I make mistakes like anyone else,WORSE mistakes sometimes. But what sets me apart from all of you apart from my belly filled with jiggly goodness and prodigious rump ( butt ) is that I READ. When i mean read, i do not mean stories like "Mr midnight" and "True singapore ghost stories" Mr midnight is not that bad but it lacks meaty words for your vocabulary,True singapore ghost stories however, is a piece of rubbish,it has singlish, has completly NOTHING for your english language!!! I know that condemning the book is not nice but reading to much of this can seriously hamper your command of english. What do I read then you may ask, I read REAL stories, stories like Skullduggery Pleasent, The House Of The Scorpian.y the way the last two are real books, pages and pages of minless violence and meaty words. The word narcisstic,I learnt it a few days ago from the book Skulldugger Pleasent,i just did not know how to pronounce it.
So in time, i hope that you will follow my example and be fantastic writers too!

Please note;: There may be some spelling mistakes for im not really good at typing.

How it feels like to become a twin...

The good, bad and strange things about becoming a twin.

1.The good things are...

  • If i do not know how to do my homework i can ask my twin brother.
  • I will have someone to play with me.
  • I will have someone to compete with when playing games.
  • I can tell him all my problems and he will give me some advice.

2.The bad things...

  • Some people do not know how to differentiate us.
  • We sometimes don't get along very well.
  • We do not know how to be independent.

3.The strange...

  • People always ask who is taller or older.
  • People also ask how my parents know who is who
  • We have almost the same likes and dislikes
  • Sometimes we say the same words at the same time.
  • Being a twin makes me feel special.

The simple machine i found is a door wedge.Do you know that actually a door wedge is an inclined plane??(i found this on the web.) A door wedge, can separate thick and hard materials, such as wood, including solid stone and hard metals, with much less force, less waste of material, and more precision, than crushing.

Sunday, June 22, 2008

Inside the printer, there are rolers. As the printer activated, the rolers start to roll so that the paper can go in and come out .This roler is connected with the thick round part which enables the roler to roll. So the roler is wheel and axle.

homework #1

OK, since i am late i'll just give a simple tool: a knife. the knife is classified as a inclined plane as the sides are sloped to create a wedge which we can use to cut with. the smaller the angle of the inclined plane, the sharper it is.

Simple machines.

Okay I just woke up so this isn't the best piece of work I can make. Sorry for the late post... I've been very busy in Jkt. The simple machine I'm going to write about is the lever. The item? Tongs. It's fulcrum is at the end and the effort in the middle. Load is at the other end. To make it simple it's like this : LEF... Now, as the load moves over a larger distance than the effort and since the action occurs at the same time, the load actually moves faster. Okay, I forgot to add ONE point. This type of lever is actually the third-class lever. In third class levers, effort is applied between the load on one end and the fulcrum on the opposite end. How does these tongs make our lives easier? Well, it helps to not pick up rubbish by your hand, put coal in the barbecue grill or even take it out. In simple, the tongs helps us by picking up and gripping things. The few of the many types of tongs are:  sugar-tongs, asparagus-tongs,  blacksmith's tongs and crucible-tongs.

Note: Okay... this is sooo not my style of writing... I'm like a buisnesswoman with no sense of humour.... sorry.

Homework 1 ONE uno wha'dya want?

First, a fan screw. Its used on a fan to adjust how high you want it 2 be. A fan screw is an inclined plane. With its big 'head' you can turn it more easily compared to your average screw.
Above is a pic of my ye olde GBA SP.( Its only there coz the Blogger system stubbornly refuses to put the pic at the bottom)There is a gear at the little blue circle just below the top section(you see it? its right there...........)The gear is used for flipping the top section.

Simple Machine

1.Spoons and Fork. They belong to the lever category of simple machines. The fulcrum is in the middle while load and effort are infront.Fulcrum is something that the object lean on , in this case, our hand. Our index finger and thumb hold the spoon/fork which will be the effort while the load is ,of course, our food.

2.I don't know what exactly it is called, but i draw it,looks quite blur but never mind.
I have also draw out where the wheel and axle are. When we turn the axle which is also the handle, the wheel will turn and garden hose will extend by rolling out more and more .Since the axle (where effort is apply)travel a longer distance than wheel,it reduce effort .
3.Chopstick,i know Wei Jie had done them but it is the first i idea i have come up and i have written a lot notes on them,so i decided to put it in anyway.
Chopsticks itself is not really a lever, but when we use it,it can be consider as a lever.(had check with tuition teacher)When we use the chopsticks, the fulcrum is in the middle while effort and load is infront. This type of lever involve a larger effort to move them load ,the effort and load also move in the same direction.Take a pair of chopsticks and try this to see if it is really a lever. The middle part of chopsticks leans against in between your thumb and index finger which will be fulcrum while effort is apply by your fingers. The load,of course,is your food!
So this is a simple machine that is not really a simple machine. It is only a simple machine when we use it,and not a simple machine when it is not in use.

homework1 (science)

The fixed pulley
Some curtains use a fixed pulley to open and close the curtain. It is of great help as it changes the direction of a force, making it easier to open and close a curtain, and also the distance moved by the effort is same as the distance moved by the load. So whenever you want a curtain open ,just pull the string that is attached to it.

Saturday, June 14, 2008

my door knob its has a wheel and axle inside like there are two axle and one wheel and the axle is coverd by the knob so when u turn the knob or push it down the wheel in the middle will mover henceforth opening the door.(iam not sure if my explanation is detailed...^-^)

another wheel and axle is the clock on the wall the axle is smaller than the wheel in diameter. The axle is in the clock , in the concealed part.

a lever is a crowbar. I dont know why is it in my house but its just in there.when we use it to open crates that are tightly sealed during that moment the crowbard is counted a lever. by the lucky the minituare schnauzer .

homework 1

1. The switch, is an everyday tool that we use. And, the simple machine that is used is the lever. The fulcrum is in the middle of the switch while the effort is on the side of the switch while the load is...to turn the switch on!

The lever helps us by reducing the amount of effort needed for the job or or it can move the load a longer distance depending on where the fulcrum is.
2. The door stopper is a very effective simple machine that is used to prevent the doors from moving. It is actually an inclined plane that is wedged right between the floor and the door which in turn, will prevent the door from moving!
3. The can opener is a ingenious device that allows you to open up your cans with ease. It has gears inside which turns the blade inside when you turn the handle.
4. there is a type of ceiling fans that need you need to pull some string to change the speed which, uses pulleys!!When you pull the string, you also pull something inside the fan to change the speed!

the three days at school

during the first three days at school we spent the first day at school doing english we played games and did some work like doing each others compo.the second day is maths, we did some challenging questions with our teamates and finally the third day we spent time doing science we did many experiments and had a great class party bash at the end of school.we had so uch fun during the three days at school during the holidays.

I took this picture from the internet. The chopsticks is a lever. The point where two chopsticks crossed is the pivot of the lever. In ancient times, our ancestors liked to steam or boil food. It was difficult for them to use spoons to dip vegetables in the soup.So they invented the chopsticks as it is easier for them to use it to dip vegetables. We hold the chopsticks with our thumb, index finger, middle finger and third finger. One stick is against your third finger and the other leans on your middle finger. When we pick the food, we use our index finger and middle finger to control the chopsticks and nip food.It will be hard to keep using spoon if they did not invent it.

Homework1

A foot pump is a lever. The foot pump allows us to use our legs to pump vehicle tires, inflatable toys , athletic balls and more!Using our leg to pump a ball is easier than using our hands. The foot pump has an air pressure guage which lets us see the air pressure of the object that you are pumping. The further the effort from the fulcrum the lesser the effort is needed to push the pedal down. The foot pump has a base to help support it.

Homework 1

Broom - lever

The fulcrum is in the middle and the load is litter. The effort is the force applied at the lever.
A lever can help us to do work with less effort or in less time.

For a lever to move a load in less time, the distance moved by the fort should be smaller than the distance moved by the load. More effort is also needed. To make all these happen, we could use a longer lever.
Example: a longer broom can clear the same litter in less time as the longer broom makes the load travel a greater distance.

-The picture is uploaded from the internet.

Simple but verrrrrrrryyy useful machine!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of simple machines this is what I've found.
(I'm sorry i cant take a picture of it and i do not know how to place it). I have found this simple machine which uses the principle of the wheel and axle.A wheel and axle is a simple machine made up of two circular objects of different sizes. The wheel is the larger object. It turns about a smaller object called an axle. Because the wheel is larger than the axle, it always moves through a greater distance than the axle. A force applied to the wheel is multiplied when it is transferred to the axle, which travels a shorter distance than the wheel . A wheel is a lever that can turn 360 degrees and can have an effort or resistance applied anywhere on that surface. The effort or resistance force can be applied either to the outer wheel or the inner wheel (axle). whoops i almost forgot to mention about the simple machine I found in my house . It s a door knob .A door knob uses a larger "knob" to turn a smaller rod. You trade distance for force. In a bicycle you trade force for distance. By turning the bicycle axle with a pedal you get more distance (or speed) as the larger wheel turns.

Homework 1

inclined plane

i am not quite sure , but i suppose so ... the bathroom ,when u bathe ,water goes down the drain the floor is always slanted to let the water go down the drain ( is it counted?)it lets the water flow properly instead of letting it stay "flooding". i just thought of it .

lever

the HOLE PUNCHER !the lever arm is the effort , the fulcrum is in the middle and the load is the paper . the bottom acts as a base to help to push it down and collect the paper . a bigger hole puncher is easier to use as less effort is needed although it is bulky .when you press the "arm" of it , it cuts through the paper and thats it !

gears
the bicycle .the wheels have gears and a chain is connected .the pedal also affects the distance travelled within a pedal because the bigger the wheel , the longer the distance ,it is involved in wheel and axle .

HOMEWORK 1

It is the curtain. It is consist of 2 fixed pully which is place one on top and one at the bottom. It will have a string attached to the two pulley.
When one of the string is pulled down, the curtain will move. It helps the person to move over a short distance and use lesser effort to move the curtain(load).
Without it, we have to walk a long way...
:D

Homework 1

speaking of my house, i knew nearly everything in every litttle corner of my house... let's start from my kitchen! oh ya, there is the clothes hanger it consist of pulley but not sure (fixed pulley, movable puley or the pully system) i think is fixed pulley?ok! it has the duty of hanging my clothes, whithout it that will be my end of life! i think...=) now walking towards my 100 more years old fans(at least should have 10 years old!!) i think the blade is the axle? and the hub is the wheel.is this the end of my house? of course not! the next place we are visiting is my bedroom! there is the curtain which is also made up of pulley!i use it everyday when the intensity of light increase everyday! it is the end of the 1 day tour around my house hehe=) byes please pardon me if i write any wrong facts or offended someone =)

Homework1

The simple machine I've found in my house is the SCISSORS. It makes use of the simple machine principle called ''lever''.It is used to cut things, from paper to meat. The fulcrum is found in the middle, and the effort is placed on the handle of the scissors. The load is then placed in between the blades. When an effort is applied to the scissors with a load on it, the sharp blades of the scissors will ''squeeze'' the load, causing the load to split. The amount used to cut a load varies according to the SIZE of the load , STRENGTH of it and SHARPNESS of the blade. Of course, if you try to take a pair of scissors to cut a COCONUT, then you should not expect the coconut to even have a single scratch on it. Also, if you use a 10 year old saftey scissors, then you should not even expect to cut CARDBOARD!!! The main difference between a pair of saftey siccors and a pair of metal scissors is that the saftey scissors are generally more blunt, and could not cut most hard materials like cardboard, whereas the metal scissors could cut most things, like hard cardboard, which the saftey scissors could not.

HOMEWORK1

The simple machine I found was the FAN. You know, the one that helps us to save electricity and money by using it instead of the air-conditioner! By examining the blades and mechanism that makes them spin, i found out that the blades of the fan are actually connected to a central "hub"
where a simple machine which resembles a wheel and axle spins the "hub". Causing the blades to spin!

The main difference between a traditional wheel and axle and the Fan's wheel and axle is the facet that the traditional one uses good old fashioned muscle power while the Fan's one is spun by a electrical motor instead of some burly guy's arm!

( Could not paste picture as a virus wiped my hard drive blanker than a magnetised disc. I had reinstall everything! )

Simple Machines

This simple machine is a water faucet at the toilet (can't take picture so i took it from the internet...same thing anyway...quite blur)

This faucet has two types of simple machines...an incline plane, (front and back of faucet) and wheel & axle(top) determines the flowing of the water out of it (obvious).

The incline plane(back) is necessary because we need to turn it tight onto the pipe if not water would not be flowing out of it...and the front is for the person to wash clothes...or others (etc). the person can also use a hose and connect it to the faucet to extend it...

another simple machine..the wheel & axle...basically,the blue (so-called)wheel...is extended ..which is slightly different from the normal ones...
(those round 'wheels') it is extended so the person has to exert a little amount of force to turn on the tap...but the effort of course has to travel a longer distance than the load...(i think thats all)

if you people out there are still using the old kind of faucet..i recommend you to buy the faucet i'm using as it is convinient and efficient!!!!TRY ONE!!!!

Homework 1

I have found a simple machine. Its the water faucet. I'm sorry i cant take a picture of it and i do not know how to place a picture there. Anyway the water faucet has 2 types of simple machine. It has an inclined plane and a wheel axle. For the wheel and axle, the effort has to move a longer distance than the load but the effort used is lesser than the amount needed to push the tap up for the water to come out of the tap. As for the inclined plane, we people turn the tap to either close it or to switch it on. If it is not closed, it water would be flowing out endlessly. Thanks for reading this and hope you understand what i said.

Pulley System - Clothes Hanger

This clothes hanger is made of a pulley system that consists of a fixed pulley seen at the top - attached to the ceiling and a movable pulley seen at the bottom that determines the height at which the clothes are hung.
Next
The fixed pulley is necessary as the person (standing below) exerts an effort (pulling string) that makes the load (clothes) go in the opposite direction.
Next
The movable pulley reduces effort used but the trade-off for less effort is that the effort must travel a longer distance than the load. - meaning you will have to pull the string for a longer distance than the distance that the clothes will move up.
Next
If you have one at home, try it out.

3days which ROCKED!!

The first day we played many fun games like the awesome Wheel of Fortune , continuing a story and for some 'medium shy', charades (word might be spelled wrongly). I have learnt to think quick on my feet and also to be less shy. I enjoyed having to do experiments on the last day rather than reading it in books! They have taught me more about science and that teamwork and cooperation is needed to finish an experiment too.

The 3 days at school

The first day we sat in a circle and played some games and it was fun, we had to use our cards if not we will have to get into the arena and make people buy the item you are selling. The second day we sat in fours and do some maths questions and my teacher scold wei zhi for not paying attention but actually he was sick. The third day, we did hands on activities and at the end of the day our class had a party.I enjoy the lessons.

Hi Kiddies - from Hong Kong

Well at last I'm enjoying a bit of a BREAK!

You may not know his but these first 2 terms have been extremely taxing for me!! What with the 36 of you and the Science department and RSVP and whta not.....

Anyway, you know what - there is now 1 term left before the big day - shall I say the Big Days! One more intensive term of preparation and we'll be there!

I hope you all are having lots of fun. Do share what you've been up to these past few days. As for me I've left poor Fifi behind at the Pet Hotel - I'll hear all about it when I'm back from the 'lady' herself.

Until then, aurevoir.

THE AWESOME EXTREME THREE DAYS

The holiday programme was awesome!!!!!!!The arena was so cool.(can't u see my actions of a kitten -.-"""""""""""""")I luv the maths day the most!!!
Finding patterns to me is peanuts (uhmm not bragging ahh ^.^)And for the science , i did the one with the boiling water. The water was so HOT!!!i nearly scalded my hand!!!And i find it amazing that we finsihed the lunch in 12minutes(maybe a world record hahahah!!)

I'm in the polluted capital land of Indonesia!!!

Like what the title of my post says... I'm in the polluted capital land of indonesia AKA Jakarta, my homeland.!!! Seriously. You can't see even a tinge of blue in the skies! Only grey, grey and more grey. Here's another thing. NO CLOUDS NOR STARS  o(T.T)o!!! Nevertheless, I love my homeland. I'll try describing my house.... there are two gardens, one outside and one inside (no roof on top) In the garden that is inside, there's a pond. With differently shaped and sizes (but still greedy) fishes inside. The living room has been turned into a shop and the kitchen is ... well, a kitchen. There used to be a super large storeroom which plays an important role in my life (that's another story). Now, that room is the "training room" where my Mother teaches about jewelry. Outside my house, there is a little... transportable mini shop... here, we call it a warung. These warungs are all over the place! The next few paragraphs are going to be about... different timelines.

Present: Presently, I am sitting at the beads bar. On the stool. Bored out of my mind, trying to do something productive and writing this. My mum's shop is known as the beadz. They're main concept is a bar. Look over at the chatbox and you'll know what I usually do...

PAST: Hm... let me see. Ah yes! My family (except my dad), friends and relatives went to the karaoke-ing since it was my sister's birthday yesterday... me and my sister's friend went crazy doing duets and stuff. (I don't need to go to the point do I?) If you read about the storeroom playing an important role in my life, it's because... I got stuck in there when I accidentaly locked myself in. Me being very extremely young, I couldn't open the door. After that, I learnt to, never fiddle with doors even when in your own home. xP

Future: Once my cousins get a holiday, I'll be going fishing with them! Wish me good luck! Oh and, megan, I might not be in Singapore and I might not be able to get time on the com so... HAPPY EARLY B'DAY!!! (Also to those whose birthdays are in June!!!)

Reasons to why I am writing this: I am bored. I want to do something productive. I want to share my life here with you guys! I want to practice writing without digressing... I hope I'm getting better since I always digress UNCONCIOUSLY. Did I mention it's because I am bored?

Visit me in Jakarta if you're here or if you're going here in the future! (And in the future, If I'm here!)

I'll try to post some pictures of the shop's opening and the house (On june 14th) !!!

Mrs chien, you may delete this if you want... or you can edit some parts... Oh and please tell me if I'm digressing!!!!

-Fauzia (Signing off... Bye!!!)

3 days at school

When I woke up on the first day of this go-back-to-school-on-the-holidays programme, I was full with dread as did'nt know what to expect. So when I entered the classroom, I was very suprised to find the tables and chair arranged into a arena! Well, to cut it short, we played a short game called charades (I had to act out the phrase farting fear pie) I felt little embarrassed!
The next day, we did maths. Mrs Chien also introduced more on visualisation problems which we did throughout the day. At first I had a little bit of problem trying to visualising the problems, but I managed through.
The last day we did science. Mrs Chien prepared 2 experiments for us. The experiment that I did was based on the topic light. But no matter how we placed the torchlight, the datalogger still did not pick up any signs of light. But then the aroma of the pizzas wafted into my nose as it was brought in. We probably could have been in the guinness book world records for the fastest class party which lasted only for 12 minutes!Imanaged to eat 3 slices of pizza and gulped down lots of pepsi, coke, fanta, and juice. (I got a stomachache after that) What I do conclude that, those three days were the best!!!!

Sunday, June 01, 2008

what was good today? i got a headache, almost vomited, got a scolding from dad, got overcome by sulfur from the springs. but today was fun!

weird

now i am in taiwan's north part. (in a hotel, duh!!!) and the first thing i noticed was steam coming from the drains!!!weird.dad siad(or told) me that it was from the hot springs downstairs. it turned out it was right. to go into the hot springs, you will have to go in naked!!!! but for all the perverts out there, the girl and boys do not share the same spring bath(don't you know what is privacy!!!!). iwill write more when there is time and internet.

P.S. i haven't started me homework yet. AHEM!!!!

3 days of horrific fun

Well, the remedial was very........drumroll.......Fun! Mrs chien is very fun and she can make boring remedials come to life!My favouurite was the party.let see... i ate Two small and one big hawaiin pizza=4 pieces.1 cheese pizza and two seafood.sum up............7!!!!!i beat ernest record!!!!!

Three days of fun fun fun!

These 3 days were AWESOME!

I absolutely loved the english and maths activities!!
The english waas funny yet enriching and the maths was an interesting change from your usual back breaking-skull numbing work!
The party we had on the last day was great too! My mum told me that the some people were actually JEALOUS!! Imagine that!
For me however, my science day was a pain.

List of Pains (X_X)

1. Box was not set up properly
2.Ernest made a REALLY big hole in the box by accident.( whoops )
3.A sharp object flew in the air and almost stabbed my eye open ( REALLY BAD whoops )
4.torch light was missing ( whoops )
5.Kai ler and james, who were operating the data logger disappeared
and so ernest and I had absolutely NO IDEA how to work the data logger.
6.Fish tank emptied 1 quarter of its contents on my shoes
7.Lucille almost tore my finger nail off.
8.2 of 3 guppies went suspiciously MISSING......maybe that pile of bones and satisfied lobster are related.......
9.lucille grace died.......ate puffer fish and went into .....dreamland.( sniff.....sob......)

Overall, everything was just fine!

Here is a mean joke: what is dark and bleak? answer: Your future!

What do you learn from that?
  1. Plan before attempting investigation
  2. If given a chance, change team members!
  3. Lucky says ' when in doubt, walk around and learn form others' and he is spot on correct!

Thanks a million to your team - Lucky, Fear Pie for helping to bring our beloved Lucille 2 home. Never mind what happened next because YOU did your best to care for her. You are brilliant! (Mrs Chien)

Three days of extttrrreemmmee fun!!!!!!(with studying)

At first i thought this remedial will bore me to death but it proved I was wrong as we both had fun and learnt new things like how to use visual skills to solve maths problem sums . I did not fully understand the concept of materials reflecting light but after doing the experiment I understood the concept .But the most memorable moment was when the aroma of the delicious pizza entered my nose. I ate about 5 slices of pizza with cheese topping and 8 glasses of different kinds of drinks. The best part was when we cleaned the class. I enjoyed playing as well as cleaning the class it was one of the most unforgettable party ever.

3 Awesome days in school!

The 3 holidays rock!!!! On the first day our class was arranged like the arena . It was so uncomfortable , never sat like that before ... I couldn't answer any of the questions mrs chien gave ... (how to make myself raise my hand and answer the question?!) So i ended up trying my best to ''sell'' the eyelash curler . And the charade ... why must I do ''Honey I'm Home''???? SOBS!!! But it's still super fun! On the second day, we learnt about visualisation and looking for patterns. I LOVE THE 3rd DAY!!!

Doing that science experiment , the cycling in the dark . I don't know if my group joined charmaine's or charmaine's group joined us but we still did the experiment together. The most funny part was when Maythavee and I went in search for stronger torchlights. We found 3 torches but only used 1 of them . We kept adding torches to the hole until we used 4 of them and I think we made the hole too big and the torches kept dropping in. That rocks!!!
About the party let's not talk about it . Lasted only abut 15 mins. I wish mrs chien can hold this kind of classes again except for the party. And the next time i want to try to answer the questions!

Feedback for those 3 DAYS !

those 3 days were so fun ...FUN..!
MONDAY -English
Start of the day, we sat in an arena arrangement . I was late and did not know where to sit .Very lost at 1st but sat with megan after that . It was funny to see all the peoples' legs , especially boys infront of me slightly fidgeting. Obviously , we were uncomfortable.

CHARADES - I was in the arena and doing walking like an Egyptian, quite difficult and embarrasing - i couldn't think of anything about Egyptians ! I also remembered the very fun storytelling and wheel of fortune. I think it was useful as i 'overcomed' my embarassment and also learnt many new things.

TUESDAY-maths

we did visualisations and maths .. It's all about learning new things and the questions were refreshing. it was fun and i loved it . luckily we learnt these in case such questions appear in PSLE, must carve it in your mind!

wednesday-science+party
It was really fun that day . though we were rushing,we had fun doing the experiment (salim,hh,megan, charmaine, maythavee, theresa, bona)on the cyclist at night . the hands on was really good, learning alot. The workbook tests were to test our levels of science .. the experiments were fun . we used so many different torchlights of all sizes (L ,M,S) At 1st we were not successful ... but it all worked out well in the end ..! I think the experiment was testing how organised we were and i absolutely loooved it ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE PARTYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHILE WE WERE STILL DOING THE EXPERIMENT , THE PIZZAS CAME ,THE AROMA ..!WE finished our work AS FAST AS WE COULD. FINALLY , THE PIZZA PARTY STARTed ...! THOSE WERE DELICIOUS!!!!!All FINISHED IN 12 MINS! I ESPECIALLY LOVED EVERYTHING .LOL .^^THE DRINKS SWIPED OFF .. QUICK ! THEY WERE TOTALLY FAB ..! I GOT A COUGH AFTER THAT . I DO NOT CARE ... I LOVED IT ... UNEXPLAINABLE LOVE FOR IT ...! ^_^ it was so fun .. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS ... BUT I NEVER REALLY FELT FULL ..NEVERTHELESS.. I FELT EXTREMELY HAPPY IN THAT SHORT PERIOD OF TIME ...!!!!!!!!!!

The 3 Excellent Days :D

Those three days were awesome!!

I loved the first day best. The tables were arranged like an arena and we had to really adjust to it. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but i got used to it after a while. The charade was fantastic ! The continuing the story was soo funny ! especially when the slips were used. Lastly, we did the compositions, and it sounded weird as we went quite out of point after a short while of doing someone else's story.

The second day was all about maths, and wonderful ! We did many problem sums and found many patterns !

The third day, was so fun !! We did hands on experiments [mine was heat] and i really enjoyed it. We worked hard on the experiment, trying to make it a fair test by fiddling with the temperatures of the water to make it the same. Overall, it was cool.

And at the end of the day, was the PARTY !
We ate pizzas, nuggets, chicken wings and drank bottles of drinks which i mixed in my cup =]
All the food and drinks were finished within a short time and we had to CLEAN UP !
I missed the pizzas as by the time i got there, it was all finished. So, i spent my time eating the NUGGETS :)

Not like the other classes, which studied and studied and did worksheets, we had fun while studying, which was great
I totally loved the three days! Thank you Mrs Chien for the WONDERFUL time we had.

Those 3 days

Those three days were the best I ever had... No word is great enough to describe the happiness I felt. On the first day, we had our tables arranged into a circle to form an arena! It was a great arrangement- different from what we usually have (although getting to the desk was a little hard). Uncomfortable? Yeah. VERY. Having plenty of eyes look at you.... it's creepy. At least I didn't get to go to the arena (I wanted to...) Playing cherades, telling stories, doing the next paragraph of your friend's compo and find that the story wasn't what you wanted it to be... Everything was pure learning and playing.

Second day... MATHS. Dun dun dun dun~~~ Okay, enough drama. I feared that day. But I felt excited. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be... In fact, I could climb up mt. Everest and scream at the top of my lungs, "I LOVED MATHS DAY!!!" Oh. wait. Nah, I wouldn't do that. Okay, so we learned about looking for the patterns and visualisation. I found it fun... really. Mrs chien told us that those two things would appear in PSLE. I sat with Eden who was- better not say it...Wei Jie who was quiet and Koh Eun who wanted to cut my hair. They were helpful to me as my maths isn't what you would call 'strong'....

Next day was... SCIENE!!!! YIPEE!!!! I love science.... My group (sheryl, koh eun, me and natalie) Did the heat concept thingy... It was fun... although I am afraid of hot water because of past experiences. Sheryl and I had fun just by waiting for the next time to check the temperature of the water... We counted down... Did silly stuff... Have natalie shoot her infamous glacial look at me... Finally, at the end of the supplementary, we had the party!! The whole class finished the boxes of pizza, chicken and nuggets in TWELVE MINUTES!!! I wonder if that'll put us in the book of world records.... I was a bit... erm... tired but I still kept my smile on (tried...) We cleaned up and I went home.

I had the most fun on Monday and felt helped the most on Tuesday... I want to see more of everything we did on those three days!!!

P.s: In which category of the "amount of courage chart" do I fall in?

3 days

Those three days in school during holiday were great. It helped me understand how to do well in oral. I really enjoyed them and the science worksheet was great. I wonder why it lasted only 3 days. i wish we could do even more revision and study more.

All the activities we have done were so great and I was so excited to be in 6 grace as other classes only did the worksheets unlike our class. And the last day party was the best among all the activities we did on those 3 days.

Now I miss my class as I will not be able to go to school and will always be hearing mom's nagging.^^ anyway I wish the holiday is over as I enjoy studying in the 6 grace classroom.

Feedback!!! :D

It was amazing and interesting! We didn't have to sit and do worksheets the whole day like others classes. We played and learnt at the same time. (enjoyed it very much!)
On the first day, we sat in a circle the whole day. At first, it was very uncomfortable but after a while I felt much better. I laughed almost the whole dAY! I really had fun!
2nd day...
It was my favourite subject, maths. We learnt about Visualisation skills and finding a pattern which Mrs.Chien said was a major topic which will come out for PSLE!
It was so amazing at first when Mrs.Chien guessed the number we thought of before we knew the trick!
3rd day...
It was one of the most enjoyable day! My group(me,theresa, charmaine, bona) did the question on "how can the cyclist be seen during a dark night". At first our group did it wrongly and we joined another girl group (megan, hui hao,jia li,clarissa). Megan and I searched the two science labs for stronger torchlights!
In the end, we use 4 torchlights to do the experiment!

Now, the most interesting part....
THE PARTY!!!
Wesley said we finished the food by about 15mins. (can record inside the world record!:D)
It was very enjoyable moment! I even ate 2 pizzas!
The class was in a mess after the party but we managed to clean it up.
It was the first time I had a party inside the classroom!

Thank YOu Mrs.Chien 4 organizing this whole event!
:P

3-day holiday remedial

The 3-day lesson was the most amazing lesson in the whole entire 5 years of learning!!!! on the first day..i thought we were all going to do boring work that will bore me to death...i even complained "i want to go back and sleep..." but to my surprise...'voila'!!! an arena was made in the classroom!!!

we did some amazing lessons like charades-we look edat students giving signals and guessed like crazy..this teaches us to not be afraid.

then we did some storytelling about our teacher and others...that day made me want to have more excitement in the lessons.

the second day was very useful as it taught me to visualize the picture and simplify it..( it was quite hard to see it!!!-Practice makes perfect!) Mrs chien even said such questions may come out in PSLE!!!

The third day was the most enjoyable day...its not only the party but also the hands-on activities!!!!the torchlight experiment was the bomb!!! i liked the experiment so much...(i wish i could do more) and finally...the holy party in 'da' class...'da' party!!! we ate alot of slices of pizza and gulped down gallons of fizzy drinks!!! we even set the record of eating everything in 12mins!!!! that unbelievable...how i wish this day could repeat all over again.
Mrs Chien!!!can we do this more often in class the next term?(those activities...not the party)
I'm so lucky being in ^grace!!!!

FeedBack~

O~O~O~O~
The holiday programme is wonderful!!!
it is soooo fun~all thanks to Mrs.Chien and friends!
I really liked the way we were seated on the first day,
a big round circle and everyone told a part of a story.I am basically laughing throughout the whole thing. Especially the second round(^+++^)
The math day is ok but it is quite hard to understand all these problem sums.

I LOVE science day! With everyone doing hands on experment and girls(me,charmaine, maythavee, bona, megan, hui hao, clarrisa, jia li.) in one group.
We ...ruined two boxes and some parts of the torch got pulled out(?) but we manage to fix all back !(Thank goodness)
And of course the best part is the PARTY!
We had 6 pizzas, nuggets, chicken wings and lot of drinks. Mostly the food ran out within a short period of time and we had the party in class! Never have a teacher that does that before!
So, I must thank Mrs.Chien for organizing the party for us!
Thank you!!!!Mrs.Chien!!!!You rock!

feed back ~

The three days of the holidays were super fun!! I had fun playing games on the first day. I love sitting in circles where I can see everyone. Going back to school enables me to meet my beloved friends and teacher. I wish that we could have the fun again. I wish we could always sit in circles and see everyone. Yesterday, we learnt maths and we did many fun things. We learnt how to visualise things and it was fun ! c: Today we had some hands on experiments where we can touch and see. It was superb ! Today we ate pizza, chickens, nuggets and drank soft drinks. But of course I could only eat pizza and drink soft drinks T.T I managed to gobble 1 slice of pizza and it was totally GONE ! haha.. xD then I had a few cups of soft drinks. It was really fun going back to school during the holidays !

My feedback for the holidays

These three days during the holidays were so fun :) It was exciting to go to school during the holidays, I was able to meet up with my friends and of course, Mrs Chien (the unpredictable teacher).. I loved the first day the best, we were seated in a huge circle, and we could see everyone, it was so much fun. It was like in a stadium.. We played many games related to english, there was so much laughter, I enjoyed myself a lot. And the party today was extremely fun too, we had 6 pizzas, some nuggets, chicken wings and soft drinks, they were all gone in about 12 mins.. Our class was such an 'amazing' class! Thank you teacher(and the deliverymen) for the food :)
At first, I dreaded the holiday programme. I mean, which student would want to go to school when they can sleep late?

So,on Monday, I reluctantly went to school. I thought I was late for a few minutes??When i entered the class, everyone was about to rearrange the desks already. Mrs Chien told us a plan - she wanted a circle! We then played games..the best way of teaching!

2nd day...was MATHS DAY! We learned that Visualisation skills and finding a pattern are 2 major concepts that will appear in PSLE!The visualisations questions were really hard to solve but i think that only after the explanations i managed to understand them.

Today...science day!!! We had to do an investigation - How can cyclist/pedestrians cross a road at night and be seen. So, at first,we had problems with the datalogger, the torch and a lot of things. When Mrs Chien suggested that the 2g roups(2 girls group) joined, we just worked together. We fixed the datalogger problem and got more torches and at the same time, had alot of fun!

FINALLY,we had our party! It was the best ever!
I felt lucky that i could go for 'remedial':)!

holidaay programm ((lagggy) luckyy schnauzerr

The holiday program was fun...had lots of laughs. The gladiator arena seating was fun.(have u stolen my underwear)^________^ the science hands on activities were fun and yet i learn from them how to set such experiment.and learnt one special thing that if unsure on how to set experiment, stand up and see what others do and copy(but not in exams or tests). The maths was really hard.... and confusing lucky revised it.eating pizza with friends fun espicially ...(how to spell espicially) m+W . Still record holder of 6 pizzaspieces, also found out that drinking ice lemon tea and f&n and coke and pespi and htwo o gives you a stomache............................................................................................................................... from lucky

FEEDBACK for THE HOLIDAY PROGRAM

I find the 1st day most interesting. It was awesome! We sat like as if we were in an arena and it was cool as in all my 5 years back in the school our sitting formation was the most boring... 2 people sitting together...

I find that i have learnt a lot of things in the all three days! The english day we got to learn about something - you should never stop - which is life-long learning. We started stories and ended them.

I learnt about doing the investigation on heat conductivity. It was so cool man. We worked together and started the experiment. The fun part was pouring the hot water into the beakers and boiling it.

I would like to have the sitting arrangements to be like how we sat on Monday - The arena thingy. I like it! And most of all.... i have learnt that eating pizzas with your great friends is fun! Thank you Mrs Chien for taking us through the 3 days!

my happiest holiday ever spent

On the 25th of may, I thought that the next day would be my most boring day i ever spent... "school holiday also need to go back to school - so boring - even though i knew that it is for my own good and i need to revise my work or else when the new term start my brain will be empty".

I woke up quite late but I found out that I was too early!! haha... iI sat down outside the library as Jun jie and my friends were there already. I chatted with them then we went to class...

Our teacher instructed us to arrange the desks in a circular shape so that we could form an arena. I guessed that day was about maths but i was wrong - it was English. We played games and was soooo fun. When i got home i revised and slept early because I was very sure that the next day would be very fun. And... i was correct haha (so high hehe). I went to school with a very very happy mood and teacher instructed us to transform the arena into groups of 4. I got into action and found myself a group and sat down... ...

the third day!! soooo happy because the class party was the first thing that I thought of but "also need to do work". haha there is no free lunch in the world!!!!! We did some hands-on experiment. Like in other experiments, we did the planning followed by the actual experiment. We chose the items which included some 'high risk' items. We handled them with care and lucky our experiment went smoothly!

After the experiment, we helped teacher to clean up the class and collect back the data loggers and placed them back in their original place. We drew a draft and concluded our experiment. After all this, we handed in the papers and the graph to teacher. And...the food arrived!!!!

I was like soooo happy like in heaven or better than that!! haha anyway i went to get the drinks and the party began - the pizzas, nuggets and chicken wings were gone in about 12 mins. Think of that!! Our class must all be experienced eaters. haha the drinks were finished in about 10 more minutes then that was the fastest class party i had ever been to! Some of my friends and I stayed back to help to clean up. After that Jun jie, Darren and I went home together.
Thanks for these enjoyable three days which i thought would be boring - they were so far from that! =)
