funs way for learning maths

in maths, we had learned ratio and now we are learning a totally new topic call 'SPEED' . our teacher introduce this new and complicated topic to 6-Grace by some hands-on experiment. we used a total of about several weeks to do this experiment. from planning to the actual experiment. first, we planed among our groups. next we gathered outside our class and did the experiment according to our plan. we thought the plan will run smoothly but we are totally wrong! quite a lot of problem arises during the experiment. at last, we managed to sought out some of the problems and corrected it but some of the problems we did not managed to sought out. this problems were then soughted by the teacher and was explained to us.... to make it short, i love this kind of learning method and hope that it will be use on others topic as well!! ^-^

Maths...

Maths is a average to difficult subject for me... I thought I had gotten how to do it but when I  try it out, I get so confused. So, I draw models! Models always help me even though I don't like using it... The way Mrs chien teaches it is also very helpful. It lets me actually experience it instead of being in class and dozing off. I can't say that I enjoy maths but I CAN say that I enjoy hands-on activities. It makes me understand maths in a easier way that is enjoyable too! So it's a win-win situation! This activity teaches us how speed works and what are the rules of speed in a mysterious way that we must find out ourself! And when we find out without knowing it, Mrs Chien tells it to that whole class! All in all, it's fun and beneficial!

MaThS

My maths , which I consider, is average.Cause...... my foundation is weak.Sometimes, I can be reeeaaalllyyy muddle-headed.Examples? well, occasionally, I would times, divide, plus or minus wronglyor that I would mistakenly write the wrong number instead of the right number. Also, there are a few topics that i'm weak in are ,speed ,percentage and......well,algebra.And worse thing of all, my tution teacher is going to u.s.a for three months T.T .but... the experiments that we conducted helped me alot =]. It helped me understand the relationship between speed, time and distance!

MATHS

I find speed quite easy so far but there will be much much more worse than this. I can understand the speed and i find that all we had done( the running thing ) is quite a good thing and it is able to make me understand more about speed. I find percentage and ratio the worst for me. I find the speed easy to handle and understand.

Maths

I find maths a challenging subject. I find some of the percentage questions a little hard to comprehend. I found speed a little difficult at the beginning but after all the activities and challenging sums we had, i now find it a little easier. Ratio was an easy topic as all we needed to do was to draw a model and understand the question. But overall, I find maths the 2nd most fun subject.

Maths

I find the maths quite easy on speed but only some of the question on fraction and percentage is pretty hard. But i find it much better than juz asking my sis which makes me more confuse about it and making me fustrate.
The other chapters like ratio and money is easy. The excercise You had given us was somehow hard and somehow very easy compare to korean maths so i will need to try hard to improve my maths and achieve my 95 for PSLE mark.

Feedback on maths

I find maths tough but the activities you have given has made learning maths an enjoyable
experience.I liked the running best of all. I hope thaat there will be more activities that will make life in this class a more memorable and enriching year.

2nd posting for this year.Im sorry if anything goes wrong

Feedback on speed

Speed is to compare how fast a person runs. Speed is measured in normally measured in km/h. This method of learning speed was fun and effective. I loved it! The hands-on experiment made me understand more on speed than just reading notes from textbooks or assessments. I found speed quite hard at the beginning, but the experiment had helped me a lot. I am a bit messed up when percentage is combined with speed.. But I drew models and it was easier to understand. I am beginning to love maths (:

tata nano runs on compressed air still unkown..

The peoples car(tatanano)emission performance exceeds regulatory requirements. In the terms of overall pollutants,it has a lower pollution level than two wheelers (motorcycles) manufactured in India. The high fuel efficiency also ensures that the car has low carbon dioxide emissions, thereby providing the twin benefits of an affordable transportation solution with a low carbon footprint.^_^enviroment friendly.

Alternative Energy Use!

At lndia's largest Auto-expo last week Tata Motors unveiled the world's
cheapest car, the Tata Nano. The no frills Nano, which is expected to retail
for about 2500 dollars, is built for the common man and is an attempt to
give peple in developing nations a chance to purchase a four-wheeled
vehicle. The four-door five-seater car has no air conditioning, electric
windows or power steering, but Tata says that they are expecting high sales
in the upcoming years as lndians benefit from increased consumer wealth
and a fast-growing economy.Tata' s launch of the Nano had come under
fire from critics alleging that the cheap car will only worsen lndia's traffic
and pollution problems, but Tata says its car has passed emission standards
and will average about 23 kiloneters to the liter.

Congratulations to an A* Team
