The Algae Problem.

I found out a few solutions for the algae problem:
1. Add in prawns as they eat algae( very SLOW!!)
2. Add a sucking fish( if possible i donate mine)
3. Add in air pump/Filter(need electicity)
4. Use chemical( Able to buy from fish shop)
5. Add a UV light sterilliser( Very EXPENSIVE! And need electicity!)
6. Add covering to block direct sunlight

Algae growth need 3 key factors:
1. Strong sunlight(we have that)
2. Lots of Food like fish poo, thus creating ammonia( food for algae)
3. Carbon dioxide(the pond does not have enough oxygen)

Hope this would help............

Friendship

What are your experiences about friendship as you grow older?
From young,we did not know how to tell a good or a bad friend, so we just make friends with the first person we see.But as we grow older, we can tell good or bad and soon starts to choose friends. At around P5, we start to stick to a group of friends, ignoring others and choosing the ones we want only.

How do you copewithe the little upsets or the big upsets?
Many of us may start to say this, " I don't be your friend already!" or even start to fight and ignore each other. But, we should just treat that little/big accident as a dream(or someting) and continue the next day as friends again.

What is a good friend to you?
A good friend is one that comes to you when you are in the time of need. They stick by your side most of the times and help you with your troubles. They confort you when you are down. Even if we quarrel, we will get back together and be friends again

Maths

I find maths a challenging subject. I find some of the percentage questions a little hard to comprehend. I found speed a little difficult at the beginning but after all the activities and challenging sums we had, i now find it a little easier. Ratio was an easy topic as all we needed to do was to draw a model and understand the question. But overall, I find maths the 2nd most fun subject.

The Sad Haunted House(5)

The haunted house in Street 23 was never entered as it was rumoured to have a strange history. Out of curiousity, my brother and I sneeked into the house at 11 P.M.. As we walked in, we could hear the silent drips of water around us. It looked like nobody was home. Out of a sudden, a werewolf appered. It looks like it was crying! Hoping that it will not notice, we creeped silently into a room with a black sign saying "Thou will not pass". Ignoring the it, we entered the room. In it, we saw a vampire wearing a yellow cape weeping and sucking his own tears! Strange, vampires were supposed to suck blood! Then it turned into a bird! My brother and I ran as fast our legs could carry us. Then, we arrived int the kitchen. We caught sight of a witch with orange skin. She was baking a cake out of sand! Shocked, we ran out of the house. We would never enter that strange house ever again

Altenative use of kinetic energy

I think we could use kinetic energy to.....
1) Power the street lights.
2)In soccer courts, we can use the kinetic energy which the players use to kick the ball to power the score board and the lights in the stadium.
3)When people use bicycles, we can use the kinetic energy that people use to paddle to power the lights of the bicycles.
4) In schools, the kinetic energy that the pupils use to play can be converted to power the speakers, lights, fans, etc.

Congratulations to an A* Team

Nothing is impossible when creative minds mix with passion and dedication.
This is the most invaluable lesson for all of us this year.
It has been my greatest pleasure to work with 34 enthusiastic and driven pupils of 6 Grace.
