Special Thanks To Someone Special

Thank you JJ for being my long time friend. We went through hardship with me. We share the same pain and agony when we are angry with each other but we always get back together!
(by Jordan)

We, the three musketeers, enjoyed the good times and also shared weal and woe! I hope that our PSLE results will be similar so we can all choose the same school.

Chao Jun and Eden, you changed my life as you helped me all the time.
(by Guan Jie)

5 of the girls helped changed me! In fact I did not have any close friend at P1 and P2. These girls made my life happier and think positively. I don't think anyone can smile an honest smile without friendship.

6 grace is over but our memories will still live on.....

This whole year to me was like a movie. I can remember everything that happened in the year 2008. But all good things have to end. Still, even if i am not in 6 Grace at least i still have the happy memories i earned from this class. By happy memories, i mean memories from the experience of things you did not do before

BTPS Kool

-Insert theme song here-

Hello everybody! Welcome to the Fauzia Amalia show!!!

Today, we shall be interviewing... Myself? hm... oh well, let's get on with it!

Q: So, Fauzia, how did you feel about BTPS kool when they announced it?

A: I felt sooo excited. It's the first time something like this ever happened in BTPS!!! Truthfully though, I don't really like the name BTPS kool... eheheh...

Q: Hmm... Well, how did you feel the night before?

A: I couldn't sleep... I slept at 12.30AM and woke up at 5.45 AM... But I had some sleep in the afternoon, so it wasn't that bad.

Q: You performed right? How did you feel about it?

A: I had fun performing... It's the first time (Besides choir and skits) That I ever performed an item on my own free will and with guys. It was really fun and I don't mind going up on stage to perform again.

Q: How did you feel AFTER performing?

A: Very proud. I accomplish something. And now, I have something to remember my last primary school days.

Q: How did you feel before performing?

A: I don't really know. I don't feel nervous at all. The stage is well, a natural place for me. I was really excited. To see people's reaction. I know some may not really like our item, but I know that in showbiz, there will be fans and there will also be haters. HAHA. I sound like a professional celebrity.

Q: Why do you say that the stage is a natural place for you?

A: I honestly don't know. The stage has always attracted me. But that isn't the reason I joined Choir. Choir is something I wanted to try out. I like singing and singing requires me to go on stage. In Skits, I often get lead roles. My family calls me a natural actor. In other words, I can sometimes be a drama queen.

Q: I heard you won Miss Koolest. Did you expect it?

A: No, I knew that I'll win at least one of the prizes though. But me winning Miss Koolest was totally unexpected for me. Not for my friends though.... They kept saying, Fauzia will surely win Miss Koolest or something like that.

Q: How did you feel about winning?

A: Elated. But embarrassed too.... I thought Alexandra deserved my title. After all, I really really like the way she dresses. But anyway, Thank you to those that supported me and congratulated me!

Q: Hm... I thought I heard somebody saying you held Mister Koolest's hand. Darren right? Is that why you were embarrassed?

A: Word travels fast... Yes, That's the reason why. I kept telling myself, Be open-minded. It's just holding hands with a classmate and a friend. It worked. Kinda. It was easy to see that the others though differently from me. Hmph!

Well, that is all the questions I have. Now, Any questions from the crowd? (Seriously. do you have any questions? If you do, write it in the tagboard)

-Question from crowd session-

Well, We have no more time. Thank you Fauzia, for coming to the Fauzia Amalia show to be interviewed!

That concludes that Fauzia Amalia show !!!

Thank you and good night!

Fauzia Amalia, signing off.

To Have an Open Mind

I have enjoyed the stories you share with us. This is the first time a teacher ever told me her life stories! The lesson on being open-minded taught me to be more considerate with people and think before I act.

I've learnt to be open-minded in accepting others the way they are. I've realised even more the importance of friendship.

When we played Charade, it made me open up, be more open-minded and just make a fool of myself. When I had to do a forfeit for Science in the arena lesson, I learnt to just have fun and not care about what other people will think about me!

Pep Talks

Your talks on:

  • Comfort Zones
  • Experience from the Past
  • Never be boring about your Writing
  • Never believe that Others are smarter than you
  • Life is boring without targets

They were all fascinating!

Your Pep Talks made me braver and calmer. I learnt that I shouldn't panic or give up. That I should not put the blame on someone else.

Your advice made me a better and happier person. Your long talks wake us up and motivate us!

Fun and Friends

Playing vocabulary games and charades in the arena taught me not to be shy and that it's ok to be goofy and get the job well done!

Group work and getting out of my comfort zone are two life lessons that changed my attitude.

How you made the girls have groupwork with the boys was amazing! At first I actually thought that we will not work together but quarrel only... I was wrong! This was the first time in my whole life that I managed to work with boys. I was soooo amazed!

I've learnt that friendship is very important. Even as a talented person, you will never accomplish anything without a friend or a partner. I now treasure my friends.

I am now more aware of how people feel if I do certain actions or make certain decisions.

Life Lessons Learnt in 6 Grace

I was proud in the past but now I try to be more humble and I find it is not too bad being humble.

The Life Lesson that changed my attitude was Kindness and Believing. A lot of people in this class believed that I CAN DO IT. And I finally DO IT!

I've learnt that LAZY is the 4-letter word worse than the one we all know of! If you are lazy, it means that you will never change your attitude, even if people tell you so!

I learnt to trust people more easily and I mean that in a good way!

I've learnt that Life is a Game that is to be played with a smile. There are many levels, achievement and perks and an equal amount of traps, pitfalls and lures. You will bump into a trap every now and then but you must take iwith a smile and a shrug and move on and be more wary.

I learnt so many things:

Friends
Respect
Reaching for your Fullest Potential
And now I'm a new man(Fred)

Dear tree 42 and 43,
I had planted you in Bukit Batok Nature Reserve on Friday with Theresa.
Before we planted you,we had assembled in the BTPS library for collecting our name tag.
It was then I realise i had to plant the two of you.
We then went out to take a group photo with the rest of the RSVP members.
When we had reached Bukit Batok Nature Reserve, the MC gave an opening speech.
Despite the hot sun,we were still very excited to give you life!
Finally,we were lead to plant 42!
It was a SHOREA~
The hole was already dug and all we got to do is to shove the soil into the hole.
We took the shovel (it was so heavy) and started shoving.
We finished in minutes?
We then proceeded to plant 43!
We were about to shove the soil and were disrupted by Megan's and Bona's pants and grunts.
After we finish,we were given buns to eat
We then went to the playground to wait for the bus.
Mrs Chien ask all pupils participating from 6grace to take a group photo!
Time passed so quickly!
The bus came and returned to school.
We had so much fun!

Congratulations to an A* Team

6 Grace triumphed this year for Bukit Timah Primary Open-House 2008!
We were crowned:
Best Decorated Stall
Best Earning Stall
Nothing is impossible when creative minds mix with passion and dedication.
This is the most invaluable lesson for all of us this year.
It has been my greatest pleasure to work with 34 enthusiastic and driven pupils of 6 Grace.
Merci mille fois!
